Photography has shaped my life in ways I can’t fully put into words. Family has always meant everything to me—slow evenings on the patio with my husband, lemonade in hand, watching the sunset and appreciating the simplicity of country living. I often find myself missing the days with my grandparents, when Thanksgiving tables were fuller and Christmas mornings felt nostalgic and full of wonder. The older I get, the more I value photographs—the way they take us back to the moments we’d give anything to hold onto again... it's one of the many reasons why I became a photographer.

"Kristen was so awesome with my daughter's senior photos! She was patient for our outfit changes and took time to find the perfect shots.. even in the Texas heat. The location she chose was *chef's kiss* and the results were PHENOMENAL. I'd trust Kristen again & again. 10/10!!"

“Kristen took the most amazing senior photos for me! Each and every shoot brings out all the fun and exciting parts of senior year. Kristen is the sweetest photographer and always makes everyone feel comfortable and brings out their true smiles.”

“Kristen was a dream to work with. As a military family, we don't see one another frequently and this was our way to capture this special time. We traveled from New York and Kristen handled our large group with ease and had the patience of a saint with our littles!”

Huge One Tree Hill fan! & I'm here to say Nathan got it right: One day you’re 17, dreaming about someday—and then suddenly, you’re in it.
I believe every season of life is worth remembering. The growth, the milestones, the quiet in-between moments—this is your story. From senior year to motherhood to building something you’re proud of, it all matters.
I’ll bring the vision, the light, and the guidance—you just show up. Together, we’ll create something you’ll never want to forget.
I picked up my first camera at 17, and shot my first wedding shortly after. By the age of 22, I photographed the cover of the Parker County Football Preview Magazine., which included 7 school districts in the area.
After receiving my BFA in Photography in 2016, I interned for The Texas Rangers and shortly after, for The University of Alabama, where I covered 21 sports teams and taught student-interns. ROLL TIDE FOREVER!
I was furloughed in 2021 from my position as the Director of Marketing and Creative Services at Henderson State, I knew I needed to step back from working at universities and focus on finding more transferrable skills. I was a recruiter for 2 years before going back into social media!
I briefly served as a Communications Director for Chick-fil-A in Granbury, and although I loved the community aspect of the job, and thoroughly enjoyed creating content for social media, I knew that realistically, there was no way to pursue my photo dream during this time. I took a leap of faith, and my husband encouraged me to go full-time, and I've never looked back. It's been a whirlwind but I wouldn't trade it for the world.

I've held a camera in my hand since I was 17 *shown below.... at a high school game in Small Town, Texas. When they tell you it feels like yesterday and also a million years ago, they're absolutely right.
I could live off coffee & believe that naps are one of life's greatest luxuries.

To this day, my courthouse wedding day is the absolute best day of my life.
Antique shops and wandering aimlessly in towns that barely have stop lights will always be one of my favorite things to do.
It's a running joke that the "Kristens" and "Rebeccas" of the world are the most creative.... seriously, there were so many of us in college, our teachers couldn't keep track of us.

Tuscaloosa, Alabama will forever be one of my favorite places in the world. It allowed me to grow, and develop my photography, pursue my graduate degree, and truly discover what I wanted out of life.
Beyond my passion for photography, I’m known for proving people wrong (it’s a superpower), meticulously organizing every last detail in my planner, and yelling "ROLL TIDE" every chance I get.
